Economic Development Association Representatives

The Atwater Economic Development Authority established in 1991 is a volunteer committee of five members working to keep Atwater businesses healthy and growing. The EDA also works to answer the needs of the community residents in helping to maintain current businesses and to establish new businesses:

•  A fresh coat of paint on business exteriors
• $250.00 to help with the cost of a business sign
• A revolving loan up to $30,000.00 at 2% interest
• Flower baskets on the streets in the summer
• Volunteer labor crews to help move and set up businesses
• Assist with new business open house events
